Summer in the District of Columbia

Life as a college senior, it turns out, is remarkably busy. Amid projects, recitals, work, studies, and yearbook, maintaining an active online presence has become an afterthought, or sometimes forgotten altogether. But this week my art show opened, and I’ve had a chance to sit back and look at some of my work. I have some graphic design in the show along with some drawings and sculptures, but the majority of my showpieces are photographs. It struck me only after I had picked my favorite photos and framed them that nearly all of them were taken over my summer as a graphic design intern in Washington, DC.

“Why not post these shots as a collection on my portfolio site?” I thought. And so I did.
